I purchased my wife a new black Pop back in 2012 mind you it was loaded ie sunroof, air, cruise, pw/pd etc etc. I will admit I was hard on her for loving the lil FIAT as I am the typical meat eating mountain man. For poops and giggles I have had GT500's, SRT8 Challengers and now I am down to 400+ hp in my new RAM R/T rcsb 4x2. On Sunday I took her for a drive to a FIAT Dodge RAM dealer and holy cow in the showroom was a Spitfire orange Sport. I wrapped up the deal right around lunchtime Monday so yes I do act fast.


I phoned my wife at 2pm and told her the deal on three of the cars in the show room fell through as we were 1200.00 apart and that was on a baby blue Pop, not to mention the orange Sport and the yellow Abarth. I am retired so I decided to show up at her place of employment and surprise her, mission accomplished. I have to admit the lil Sport looks great and has numerous options her first did not ie heated seats, sportier seats , nicer wheels etc.


The reason for getting her the new ride was the 2012 had zero warranty left as she piled on 63,000 miles in 59 months and I will not have a vehicle in the garage without warranty. I could have kept the 2012 I suppose but things were starting to go a tad south, new headlights and a tune up 505.00, her summer tires need replacement in the next 6 months so approximately 400.00-500.00 and her Nokians only have roughly 2 winters left on them 850.00. The centre arm rest went kaput as well as the seat height adjuster.


I will never give up my Hemi's 5.0's or 6.2's, it's just who I am but again the Sport in Spitfire orange sure is an eye catcher. Cfheers:slayer:
