So what's the best sat nav to use??

I might be able to help you with that one.....
Well if you want to use the socket, a genuine Fiat Tom Tom. But in terms of best sat-nav - it's hard to beat your phone and your favourite nav software, be that Google Maps, Apple Maps, waze, etc.

The FIAT TomTom is perfectly adequate, with the added advantage that you don't have wires all over the place nor a great big sucker on your windscreen. I've had mine since the car was new and I have no issues with it. The main downside is the cost.
It's easier to use than the steering-wheel buttons for controlling music playback through the USB and the voices are loud and clear.
It is feasible to purchase the plug-in mount by itself and adapt it to another device as well.
I have a Fiat Tom Tom with mount and I am about to sell my 500, therefore.....make me an offer.

that button looks weird lol
