Hi folks, We have a 20 year old Ducato 2.5 tdi based Lunar moho. We both hit 70 last year, so be gentle with me, I also have a tendency to ask stoopid questions, y'know the ones that everyone but me knows the answer too. I'm Peter aka oppy and as well as a recent motorhome owner, I have been a biker since the early 60s and am now old enough for a beemer and now have a 2001 R1150RS.

You're very kind, thank you. The only thing I can share at the moment is that it's a heck of a long way back to the UK from southern Portugal with a defunct 5th gear. Oh yes, the dreaded Ducato tin worm. Cills rusted through in places, motorhome specialists quoted £1600 to do the job and underseal the van, local commercial garage---------£300, guess who got the job. It won't win a beauty contest, but it will not fall apart either.
BTW 5th gear replacement £400
