hi,

we were trying to connect a mobile to my daughters bluetooth in her fiat 500 and the radio is now saying we have to put a code in for it to work, i think we have obviously disconnected it somehow as it was working when we bought it. is there any way we can connect it again, I have looked at all the books that came with the car and theres no code anywhere. any help would be very welcome.

Hi am Phil av done the same. Just take it out and on the side of the radio there will be a serial number make of brand then give it too fiat forum technology department and then they will able to get you started up with the right code. Because if you put the wrong codes in you have to wait 5 mins. Hope this helps my regards Phil

The radio code is also stored in the car's body computer, so provided you put it back into the same car, you won't need a code unless there's been some sort of malfunction. Transfer it to a different car, and you'll need the code. So if you buy a secondhand radio as a replacement, you'll need a code to get it working.
