I have just bought my first fiat. it is a punto mk2 2003 active sport.

there are a couple of things I need to fix to get it back on the road and I was just hoping to get some help as I was thinking of fixing It myself.

I need a new cv joint but I don't know if its a 21pin or 27 pin, does anyone know if I can find this out without taking it apart first?

Also can anyone advise me of the best way to improve performance e.g maybe oil change, filter change etc

Pop your car details into EPER, it should bring up the right answer.

A full service may well enhance performance if it has been ignored before now. Use the correct grade of oil, and don't forget the air filter.
