New here.

Bought a new 500x city about a week ago. My other car ('99 Volvo C70) developed too many problems and no longer is reliable enough for a daily driver. It'll stay as a summer car though.

Looking forward to read lots from other 500x (city) owners.

Already found a solution to my armrest problem (I see I am not alone in missing it ) and am thinking about increasing sound quality.

Ah, yes you will miss the sound quality especially if your C70 has the premium sound option.

We too have a C70, the sound of 5 cylinders can also be better than any music system....

Indeed, the factory std 425 watts, 13 speaker Dynaudio system has me spoiled. Even though it's old, it's still good!

Unfortunately I have the lpt version so the 5 cyl sound isn't as pronounced as in the hpt/ Na versions.
