Hello All,
I have a Fiat Petra 2003 1.6 16v..
The car is working fine, just recently I had to change the Plastic Cover which holds the Control Panel for both Switches and Air conditioner, Then directly after doing that, the Remote Central Lock is not working at all..
Well, i though about Battery Problem, so I opened the key and took out the Battery and it was fine, reads 3.01 Volts..
I have a spare key, and also it has the same issue..
I looked for a blown fuse, but also it was Ok..
I don't know what went wrong, really.. Both keys works fine, and Central Locking works manually, or even from inside ( from the driver lock) ..
I searched a lot, and by a lot I mean every where on the internet, no solid clue where the Remote Central Lock Location inside the Car.. I just need to check if the problem is with the receiving end, as when I press on the key now, nothing happens at all on the car.. Just on the key the red led flashes..

I don't have the Electronic Code for the car unfortunately, and i am trying to get it from Fiat local dealer but they asking for a lot of money..
Also I don't wanna go to local people here as usually they mess up the car Immobilizer when trying to fix things..

By any chance, can someone tell me where would be this receiver??? ..

Thanks a lot,
Ahmed Salah

maybe you have a loose connection or wire, I believe, but sorry mate I don't know where is the remote central locking device/module inside your car

you may pay a visit to a well reputed car electrician who knows how to work on FIATs to check and JUST check your wires, connections (connectors), relays (switches) and so on, there is no need to alter or modify anything, then if everything is well and no loose wires appears, I recommend you go to the authorized FIAT dealer/agent, at least they will not mess with anything inside the car

If you have the car manual or it's wiring diagram, this may help too
