Hey everyone!

I just picked up a 1996 Fiat Coupe 16V Turbo...for free...106km on the odometer.

It had some issues that the guy didn't want to deal with (winning for me!).
-Driver window off track (fixed that)
-Battery dead (easy fix!? )
-needs new brake pads (also easy..unless there is something strange about these cars?


There are a few other quirks about the car which I'm about to go search the forums about (not asking for answers here):
-water/sloshing noise behind the dash (briefly have read up on these possibilities)
-hood latch has some issues
-general maintenance for these cars when acquiring them used

I think you've also got the rarer of the coupes in the 16v turbo compared to the 20v. So that's a bonus straight off

Thanks! I actually think it may be a 1993...I'm not sure. The registration says 1993 but it has the wrong engine data on it and the inspection form says 1996. When I type the Vin number in online it ranges from 1993 to 1996 to 2005 (def not an '05! Haha) depending on which website I use.

Are there any easy ways to confirm which year it is? Differences in body, interior etc?
