Just saying hello. Hoping to buy a Panda tomorrow so will probably be looking for advice ( where things are and servicing etc) as there's not an owners manual. I last drove a Panda back in the early 1980s so they've changed quite a bit.

they are still relatively basic by modern standards, :worship:

got my old 2004 Panda's MOT today - only failed 1 in the last 15 years

1 failed suspension droplink - at 1st MOT back in 2007..I was gutted.

I know the gutted feeling. I have 4 old Metros. Penny, my '82 base model and still on 28 000 miles had never had an advisory or failed an MOT until 2 years ago. Then she had a sulk and refused to have a working screen washer. Turned out the plastic pipe had perished. However it took 2 days to change the blasted thing and much swearing by all involved. The pipe is about a foot long but hidden against the bulkhead and even my small hands struggled to get into the space. One very grazed set of knuckles later and after calling in the assistance of my son to hold a torch and dentist's mirror, job done . He still says he doesn't know another mum who plays with cars lol.

what kind of a panda are you looking at..??

the petrols are old tech and pretty tough,
diesel is great on fuel , but expensive when it gets old + tired..

EARLY pandas have better standard of kit than 2007 'on.
