Hi, Newbie here. Doing research before possibly buying an '04 Ulysse to use as a "Grandad's bus". Looking at a 2.2 JTD Eleganza. Wondering whether this will be a better buy than a "Galhambran" which seem very plentiful but mostly a pile of ? with mega miles on the clock.
I already have (as a keeper) a Freelander 2 HSE Auto which (I believe) has a similar engine!

Hi, and welcome, :)

there are people in the Multipla section who really rate the alhambra
- for what it is..not the hype

are you thinking the Ulyssee is a PUG engine..??
quite possibly - as It's a joint venture..the FIAT side seems to just be "tacked-on" to a French product ,
AFAIK all the diagnostics use the PSA 's kit ..not Fiat/ Alfa / Lancia

Hi Charlie & thank you.

I will check out the Multipla sect.....

Yes, almost certainly the engine is the PSA unit similar across all the EV2's, FL2, Jag X, Outlander, C Crosser and maybe others. Even the fuel filter looks similar! I understand all the EV2's were made in the same French factory - same mechanics just different trim & styling.
