Just got my 71 Fiat 850 Sport Spider. Looking for any advise and tips. The owner said it ran when he shut it off 10 years ago. Besides a little bit of rust and a bunch of dead mice, it looks like it is ready to roll. I have order a repair manual. Once I get that I plan to drain all fluids, new plugs and battery and give it a crank.

hi all I'm new to the Fiat game too, I inherited my dads 1968 Fiat 850 spider, he bought the car when he was 15 years old and asked me to start restoring it to mint condition, looking at a full body restore and swapping in a Volkswagen 4 speed and maybe a Suzuki or Goe swift engine for fuel injection, any help would be greatly appreciated, I will post pictures up later
