Had the timing covers on my Sei off today whilst I was replacing the rocker cover gasket and I noticed that the timing belt had started to develop small cracks in the rubber. Whilst looking for a replacement on websites such as eurocarparts, I noticed that they stock belts with different tooth counts, even when I put my reg in. Which one do I need?

I believe I have an 1108 MPI Active w/o AC.

Cheers,
Thomas.

A tedious answer.
With the cover off, mark the belt with chalk. Count as many teeth as you can see, mark it again, note the number. Rotate the belt and count the next set. Repeat until the original mark reappears. Add up the total.

im fairly sure you'll need the one with more teeth best to call eurocarcare (not eurocarparts these are more cento based and know they're stuff) with your vin and they'll confirm

Thank you very much I'll call them in the morning, I think I'd better try that before counting each tooth
