[FONT=Comic Sans MS,sans-serif]I am a white African from Kenya. I am a Mechanical and Marine Engineer. I have lived, and worked in nine different Countries, mainly in Black Africa and the Mid East. I have driven from Nairobi to Cape Town in a Volvo 123GT. I have driven from Jos in Nigeria to Southampton across the Sahara Desert in a Mk1 Range Rover.[/FONT]
[FONT=Comic Sans MS,sans-serif]My first car was a very tired '50sTopolino which cost me £10 including a spare engine. I have driven(not necessarily owned) many high performance cars. Lotus Cortina Mk1, Datsun 240Z, Escort RS1600BDA, BM M1, BM 535M through to Lancia Stratos and Lambos. I have also competed in many long [/FONT][FONT=Comic Sans MS,sans-serif]distance Rallies including the East African Safari. My last, and most enjoyable car was a Classic Scooby STI325 (which I had re mapped) and used on regular trips down to Andalucia. [/FONT]
[FONT=Comic Sans MS,sans-serif]I have now bought a new Abarth 595 Competizione, which is excellent, and ideal for the very crowded roads of Southern England

[FONT=Comic Sans MS,sans-serif]Most importantly, I am a verrry Grumpy Old Man, who has a terrible urge growl at stupid people, and to stand on the toes of very young children if they get too close to me. I sit to the right of Genghis Khann, with my friend Attila the Hun.
