I have a 2004 Stilo Multiwagon 1.6. The engine and gearbox leaked badly (it was a former hire car with 130000+ miles on the clock), so I decided to change both engine and gearbox. My dad came along to help. We got the engine and gearbox out and I managed to pick up a leak free engine with only 58000 on the clock and a leak free gearbox which had done 65000. While I was preparing them to go back into the car my dad took unwell - nearly died, so it was about 6 months before I got back to the repairs. Unfortunately I neglected to label the wires so I was left with 4 wires I could not figure out where they go. 3 wires are very similar 2 male connectors 1 female connector all single wires and the fourth is a 2 pin connector. The net result is that I don't seem to be getting a spark when the engine is turned over. Clearly one of the wires is involved in this process. The 2 with male connections seem to have a red dot on the connector. Individually they both fit into a socket on the side of the engine next to the oil filler pipe. And they both fit into the one with the female connection. I cannot find anywhere for the 2 pin connector to fit. It seems to have a white dot on the connector. All four wires come from the same part of the wiring loom, which I believe was originally situated somewhere around the inlet manifold or between the inlet manifold and the radiator.

Are there any photographs available of the wiring? I have tried to buy a Haynes manual, but there doesn't seem to be one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
