Hello Everyone,

Just moved to England from Canada, and I'm looking to buy a Qubo for my young growing family (just the three of us for now). I really like the MPG and utility of the 1.3 Diesel Automatic Qubo (has to be automatic for me.. I know.. I know..). Anyway, my only question so far is do the 2011/2012/2013 automatic diesels come in both 75hp and 95hp variants? So far I've only found the 75s. And I guess a follow up, if a 95 HP automatic exists, does it get drastically fewer MPG?

Thanks everyone for your help. Looking to buy in the next week or two.

Best Regards,

QuboCanuck

Thanks Charlie :) , Everyone here has been very friendly thus far.

Good idea to check the MPG figures on the manuals.

Any idea if the automatic comes in a 95 HP varient on the newish used cars?

Thanks again.

Hi QuboCanuck et famille...

The Dualogic is only on 75PS engine sadly. I tried to get one on my original Fiorino with a 95PS but 'twas not to be. Not on the cars either. It's a different (engine) block although I understand the the only difference in mechanics for the Dualogic is a servo motor for the clutch, it's still an ordinary clutch/gearbox. I love mine as it saves my back and I never let it go Auto, the economy is better with me doing it (only changing up as it drops down on its own except sometimes when in 5th it won't change to 4th at 30 mph and you have to, or you suffer the familar and well documented 'judder'.) It becomes 'automatic' after a very short time when you do the uppin' (no G :) ) 55-60 mpg on runs - bit less in town.

Hope you like it - great car and nice'n'roomy!

Hi, I've just joined the Qubisti - bought a 10-plate Trekking 1.3 diesel last weekend, driven about 350 miles so far! I like it, it's very comfortable, drives better than you expect a tallish car to and that's about it!
My advice to anybody thinking of buying one is "just do it"

Mine has 94500 on the clock with a good service history, receipts etc - it needs new rear shocks as the top bushes were shot so that will get done next week when I get it serviced. I noticed from previous service records that an engine flush was being done with each recent service - any thoughts, comments?

Hi toromod,

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Qubist/Fiorinoist, great little motors, enjoy. Mines done 40,000, oil changed at 5,000 intervals, never had, or had it suggested it needs, a engine flush !.
Any probs ask away on here, one of us may have the answer, or be able to point you in the right direction.
Cheers Qube O.

Hi
Not got Auto but we baught ours "Trecking" 2 1/2 years ago, done 26000 miles already.
so far only had a engine light come on at 25600 miles (was dirty inlet and MAP sensor due to short hops)
We got caught coming back from Aberdeen in heavy snow we traveled approx 40 miles in deep snow getting over some hills:cool: (Passing other floundering cars)
and arrived home safe and amazed(y)
We put bikes a big inflatable cannoe and our Mother:) in it and trundle off on hoiliday, ye the space is good for such a small vehical.
Plus points for me! 1/ space inside 2/ fuel econ 3/roof rails 4/ rear tail gate 5/sliding side doors 6/ ability to esily remove rear seats 7/ ease of servicing.

buy with good service history!!!!
