Hi, all just bought a Fiat Scudo with a plan to convert to a compact camper van.
Little nervous, scudo doesn't get the best of write ups on the web, but having run a Fiat Doblo for 6 years, I've found.
it's the best van I've ever had!
Any pointers to faults on the Scudo will be much appreciated, I have noticed a knocking noise in the region of the rear suspension and wondered if there is a common fault causing this. Any suggestions welcome. Yorkster.
 
Evening mate, there is no community here in this forum hence the lack of welcomes. Not surprising really considering the van

but occasionally somebody knowledgeable will pipe up with good advice.
I think your problem with the knocking could be the rear axle arm mounting point, I have no experience of this myself but believe it is a common problem.

The first forum is new so limited members just now but at least 4 builds like yours about to start. The 2nd is dedicated to building your own camper. It cost £15 a year membership but the help and info is well work the cash.

My last bill. Knocking at rear. Supply & fit rear axle bushes. £90 labour £32 parts + the dreaded.
