Just bought a 1.9 d doblo van ( 2003 ) and was looking for a haynes manual but cant see one is there an alternative

Bit old school and like using the paper manuals with the diagrams.
Bought a 1.9 2003 cargo no cental locking no manuals needs a bit of tlc body and engine wise .
Are any of the haynes manuals relivent with this engine

If it's a 1.9D (non-turbo) the same engine was used in the Scudo (I believe among others) so this will do you engine wise:

I had this manual years ago, and it's not bad, even though it's not as big as a Haynes (which these days are pretty sh*t anyway in my opinion). It's A5. I think I paid about 6 quid, so that price looks scary to me.

It's a very basic lump. Change the filters, backflush the cooling system and put new antifreeze and a thermostat in, stick some cheap oil in it and run it for 500 miles, then put a new filter and decent oil in, and it will likely go forever.
They go alright up to around 60 or 70, but they hate hills, and they run out of puff quickly on the motorway. But as a town engine they're alright unless you load it to the gunnels.

If you know you're way around tools (which it sounds like) ePer and a printer will likely be all you need to be honest:

Or just ask.

Central locking is usually something stupid. Explain your symptoms and someone will be able to help you.
