I bought a grande punto 2006 at the weekend and the door light on the dash is permanently on, also passenger dppr window wont work, door locks but no window movement from passenger door switch or driver door switch, will replacing main driver side body to door loom fix this issue?

It did on my daughter's car. She had the same problem (without the locking light) and the cause was broken wires in the driver's door loom just where it goes from the door to the A pillar. It's a common fault on GPs, it seems.

hope it fixes the light, im assuming it will seing as though the electrics on that door arent working to the sensor wont work either will it, so once thats fixed the light should go out
