Morning everyone,

Hope this finds everyone well and have had a happy new year?

As title suggests I am now the proud (and possibly nervous) owner of a lovely Stilo Abarth.

Truth be told the car is for me wife and is her second car. Her first car was an Alfa 147 (1.6 TS) so this is a nice upgrade for her. I'm a little bit sad about losing the 147 having bought it as spares or repairs and fixing it up as a surprise wedding gift for her. The five cylinder growl helps ease the pain though!

Car has pretty much full service history and seems relatively fault free for an Italian. She squeaks a little bit although has been stood for a few months I suspect bushes are worn and need replacing. I might do the fronts but I think I'll let a garage do the rears!

She does seem to want to go left a little bit, so I think alignment is out albeit not significant. The tyres were low on air so it could be a puncture yet. Tyre noise on slight bends suggests alignment out - receipts suggest front arms replaced on MOT before last (only about 6k ago - she's not gone far) and I'd bet on alignment not being checked when done.

Other than that... there is a stone chip / crack in the off side rear light cluster, for which I've ordered a replacement and I reckon the pollen filter is probably fairly clogged.

Lastly the dealer has fitted a JTD instrument set as the originals stopped working. Awesome. haha. Although I'm pretty good with electronics I've got the originals out to post to Cluster Repairs UK (of Wheeler Dealers fame) as they'll warranty a repair on it.

All minor ailments compared to the stuff I've tackled before - the joys of Italian car ownership!
