Barchetta New to the Forum - Proud owner of a 1996 Garden Green Barchetta

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and have owned my Barchetta for just under a year. With best intentions I have been restoring the car but time constraints are really starting to frustrate me.

I am now at the point where I decide whether to continue or not.

I need to replace the soft top as there are some tears on the bottom sides (I have patched for now) car could also do with some paint due to heavy stone chipping at the front. I have touched this up which makes it look allot better but not perfect by any means.

What do you think I could expect to get for my Barchetta.

UK car, 1996 green, I am the third owner, 108k on the clock, leather interior. Mechanically sound and MOT'd.

If it's not worth selling I will continue with the slow progress.

Hi Flaherty, You have a very rare car on your hands,especially in that colour. have patience and continue what you are doing. It is hard to say what it is worth, at a guess around 3 to 4k,but thats just my opinion, all the best.

If it's sound mechanically, hang on to it. Mine also has a tatty roof and could do with a respray. I could probably get £3k for it (it's lower mileage than yours, but in a much commoner colour) but what else could I buy for £3k that I'd get a similar amount of pleasure from? (Assuming we're talking about buying another car )
