Gear Linkage Help

Hi everyone. I have a 1.8 dynamic 3 door yellow stilo with usual problems. I.e passenger airbags bag sensor sunroof leak but fixed all apart from sloppy gear change. Used to be stiff cleaned it up and still doesn't self center. It's not stiff any more it is smoother since it was cleaned. So bought new linkage which still doesn't self center. So is it duff part or because the spring action happens on the linkage attached to the gear box as i have not fitted it yet.Is this what I need to clean? Any Help will be a appreciated. This is our 4th fiat we also have a high roof fiat dioblo Many Thanks

Hi, and welcome,

I suppose there's a possibility that there is a stiffness / tightspot within
the change mechanism of the box,

Use SEARCH in "advanced" to look for more info,
