Hello to you all in here!
I'm new in here, never been a member of any forum Before.
I've got hopes that I will find the help that I need to keep my '99 Marea in good running condition and able to pass yearly inspections.
At the time being, I've got an airbag lamp lit, can't find the fuse box with the fuse or fuses to it.
I would be very thankful for info on where I would find the fuse or fuses, and or possible known causes for a lit airbag lamp on a 1999 Marea Weekend.

Thanks,
rufnek

Hi @rufnek

Welcome to the forum. An airbag light can be caused by many things. Common ones are broken wires under the front seats and broken "clock spring" that connects the steering wheel airbag. You really need to get diagnostics rea. This will give a good idea what is wrong. A good option is Multiecuscan software www.multiecuscan.net running on a laptop. The older Marea needs a KL interface and 3 pin adaptor, like ebay item 281149386580. Depending on the exact airbag module fitted, you may not even have to use the registered (€50) version of multiecuscan. Download the free version and try it first.

HTH,
Robert G8RPI.

Hi, and welcome,:)
generally a lit airbag light will be due to a stored fault - often you can plug in a device to turn off the light,

your car is OBD1 - so needs the basic 3-pin diagnostic lead - see Classic Bravo section,
