Hi, my Stilo 2003 1.6 Active is playing up again. I started the car yesterday morning and all was fine, as I turned off and removed the key from the ignition the beeping started. Engine fault, high coolant, airbag failure, ASR failure etc. I removed the battery and fully charged it last night hoping that would solve it, connected this morning took her for a half hour drive and still the same. I start the engine and all is ok the warnings happen when the key is removed and the car still beeps as you walk away from it. Any information/help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have seen people have fake error codes on a Stilo, due to corrosive damage to the ECU.

In a nutshell, over time the pins on the board can break down or sink, resulting in the ECU thinking that the car has a problem with components that are actually okay, but the fault shows due to the poor or non existent connection to the ECU.

This guy had an ECU problem. He did a video showing himself taking it out and repairing it etc.
