Visited the Fiat showroom last weekend on a cloudy day, would otherwise be out an about on my ktm motorcycle.*

Checking out the 500's on the floor, I was soon persuaded to test drive, having already driven my friends Pop I had a good idea of what to expect.*

So, after a lovely drive I soon signed up for a Pompeii Grey Pop, manual.*

Collecting it this weekend, so I've been busily reading up about various things on the forum, thought I'd join up and say hi.*

Can't wait till Saturday!
:D

it's official now.
I did a lovely mountain road for about 100km to get used to the fun pop!
First day, great drive, the stereo drowns most of the road noise and I think it handles the bends quite nicely.
Happy :)

Yeah I chose that color so it looks less dirty when it is lol, so far I've done about 400km, mainly on weekend drives thru the hills, my work is only 7kms away so the commute is only minutes!
Loving it so far, performs nicely!
:)

I've got a pop in Tech House Grey - wasn't too fussed on the colour originally but now it's grown on me. Your commute is a lot less than mine - Brisbane to Southport 65K each way, but there's no issues.

We might cross paths one day, I come to/fro Arundel and I'm seeing many more 500's appear in the area, four just yesterday in the café areas on Chevron Island.
I often take it into the hinterland fun roads if I'm not riding my motorbike there, just as much fun I think!
:)

I hardly wash mine. Being a daily drivers and **** weather it's always dirty after a wash lol

Been a while, pop still happy and enjoying the odd hinterland mountain drive, did one today, leaving the hot and humid coast (32c/85%) enjoying the cooler hills...
:)

Well, after almost 7 years in this same Pop I can say it's been a fun time, only mechanical issue ever has been the silly thermostat housing, replaced that with a reliable design.. and the air bag is trying to escape the dashboard which local fiat kept not fixing under warranty, so a dash mat will fix the look of that lol
Otherwise it's been smooth sailing, still cleans up and looks new, love to trade in an E-Abarth, but wait n see when they arrive down under...
Thought I'd share my pop thoughts today 😀
