Croma 5 speed gearbox petrol 2006

Hi Guys, had 5th gear replaced on my Fiat Croma 1800 petrol 2006, idiot of a man at the garage didnt fit the retaining clip properly, and now its destroyed, I had a heck of a job getting the 2 gearsm ( they have 37 teeth as opposed to 34 teeth, on a vauxall gearbox ) Now time to change the gearbox as a whole unit, so is the gearbox a vauxhall, ? Im told it is, but why are the gears different ratio ? anyone know where i could get a gearbox ? much apreciate any help thank you

Will a Opel Vectra or Saab 9-3 fit without any hassle ?

Hi sory to here of your hasle,I would be very surprized if the gm gearboxes are any different our 150 jtd is the same box as most gm cars (m32 grrrrr) and have some where noticed that petrol vectra's use a vertion of the m32.
