Hi guys / girls ,recently bought a 55 plate 1.9 doblo drove about 5 miles then cut out , flattened battery trying to start again , finally got it home, jumped it, ran perfect outside house for 30 mins then started first time a couple of times in the space if 4 hours ran it about a mile (scared to take any further ) didn't miss a beat ,scarecrow the dreaded expensive fuel pump cost any ideas before I venture down that road , cheers . davie

Classic crank sensor!
Mine do exactly the same thing, it started first time...drove a couple of miles then stopped. I could happily flatten the batt, not a squeek. Leave it a while and it starts first time

Put a code reader on it and find out.
