Usually the common fault for the oil leak is the oil filter been corroded, I've recently had that changed but I'm still noticing my oil level going down rapidly, I've parked the car up and left for hours but there is no signs of leakage what else could possibly be wrong for me to be going through so much oil ?

How much is it using and how many miles are on the car ?
The usual suspects for mystery oil disappearance are worn valve guide seals or oil control rings. You might see bluish smoke out the tailpipe at startup or under hard acceleration. The spark plugs could be coated in oil as well.
Another would be a blown headgasket. Oil could be appearing in the coolant but you should have other running symptoms.

Nothing in the coolant and no blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe the car runs perfect and no other indications for the head gasket blown

The car is on 86000 and I've got through 4 litres in the past 3 weeks

It is a lot. Sounds like some mates taking the p***.
Are there any oily patches on the engine?
Who am I kidding. How bad is the rocker cover ?

And no there is no oil patches anywhere

Have no idea where it's going

I know there is a oil breather pipe going to my air filter could that be anything to do with losing some of the oil
