Hi fellow Fiat owners!

I've been lurking the forum for a while but I decided to register because it's a great community.

I bought myself a Fiat Punto mk2b 16V Sporting a few months back and it's been quite a PITA tbh.

16V Punto a PITA ? Not possible. Why there are so few problems with Puntos nearly everyone around here has gone to sleep(y)
What problems are you having ?
 
Where to start?

- Back in December the rear left brake snapped and I had to replace the whole thing.
- The airbag sensor has been replaced because I had the funky light on the dashboard
- The coil plugs were replaced two months ago due to a misfire, now it's misfiring again...
- And the same time I took the car to change the coils, the windscreen wiper motor broke.

Hi there in Bayern!

Does not sound like big problems to me, when the coils were replaced, also the ignitioncables were replaced? A set of new ignitiocables will cost about 60 to 80 euro. A new windscreen wiper motor including the mechanism will cost you about 80-90 euro when you install it yourself, it is not difficult to do.

it's a vehicle that somebody else has used for @ 12 years.., ;)

you'll soon discover that as FIAT cars are such a low-cost purchase , LOTS of people treat them as "disposable" and do not look after them properly..IF at all..!!:rolleyes:

if you take a little care - they are great well engineered cars, at an affordable price..!!:worship:
