FIAT 500. Is it recommend to drive in sport mode

The startup procedure in the manual should say:

1) Turn on key.
2) Start Engine.
3) Press Sport Button
4) Engage Gear.
5) Drive.

Sadly it does not. However it is the opinion of many that there is no such thing as "not" in Sport Mode... we just hit that button automatically every time.

Thanks for the tip, drove my 500L up to 7000 feet. The transmission did not know what to do in slow curves. Had to switch to stick to keep the power up.

Going to be taking a trip to Colorado next month. Likely will drive the 500. The ? in the 500L is hard to find a comfortable position with.
