Hi,
Well this is all new to me. Thought it would be the best idea for support and info on my newly embarked restoration.
I recently purchased a beautiful 1971 yellow, fiat 500 L. Very sound car, part restored. Needs very little prep befor new paint job. Then to put her back together.
This is my first project and hope to do as much as possible myself, obviously not spraying
I've got so many questions and thoughts so I hope maybe you guys can guide me.

I can confirm the '71 is a fine vintage for the 500 so it should be plain sailing from this point.

thanks for your message. I am down in Cider country (Somerset).
Ha being a lady, i feel like I'm up against it already, but i have fire in my belly and I'm totally loving getting stuck into my Bella.
Where can find out the colour of my paint. Still have the vin plate in situ. Body colour is Code 102. I'm convinced the colour she is, is her original colour but however i have my bodywork MAN!!!!!!! telling me that he thinks its not. Cant seem to find anywhere to find out what colour 102 is??
Do you guys Fiat Family get together ever.
i very much follow the Scooter scene and go to many rallies, wondered if similar happened in the word of fiat?

Ahh thats music to my ears. Had been struggling to find out the colour of the paint code 102! Hooray i now have been told that it is RAPE YELLOW. Does this make sense to you? xx

Sorry to upset you Bex, but according to the appropriate year paint code, 102 is--------Fiat Coral Red. There is therefore a chance that your car has had a re spray at some time.
