HI. I've recently purchased a 2004 Punto for my daughter whilst she's having lessons. I've been running round in the car keeping it ticking over when out of the blue it just stopped! you turn the key and it turns over nice and quick but doesn't attempt to fire. When I turn the key to MAR I expect the dash to light up but nothing. Although, when I unlock the car with the fob the dash lights up for a few seconds. a neighbour suggested to could be the Engine Management System but that seems a little drastic. Does anybody have any ideas as to what it could be?

sounds like you've lost a connection somewhere, as the dash should illuminate oil / battery etc,

wether there is an engine sensor fault or not..,

check battery terminal 1st..;) then fuses
