Oil cooler piping has to be custom made as they are not available from Fiat anymore

Oil cooler hoses on a Coop are a real pain to get off in as much as they practically weld themselves to the cooler. It all depends on the state of the cooler as it's very easy do damage the threads. You may be lucky, but I suspect you'll land up requiring a new cooler as well. These items are very expensive. Alternative Autos will probably be able to help you out. Flea Bay have them from time to time.

If your lucky enough to free the hoses, take them to one of those places that make up high pressure hoses, they will make you a set for a fraction of the Fiat price.....Best of luck.

If these are dodgy looking on your coupe get them replaced as a priority. If these give up you've got a serious repair bill!

Just wondered how successful you were on this. The Coop is not for the faint hearted. Everytime I tackle something to be addressed on my beasty, I tend to find something else that needs doing. Still that's half the fun....

The pipes are no longer available but oil coolers are. Look at my thread on Fiat Bravo 20vt, John at Midlands car servicing supplied some new pipes and cooler. He has them specially made.
