Hello to All,

my name is Enrico (sorry for my username but another person joined the Forum before me with this name).

I am not a teen ager.....I am 55, and when I found this Forum searching on the web reading comments referred to FIAT cars with a passion that I am not able to find anymore in Italy, I was really impressed.

My father worked for 40 years for FIAT, and this meant a lot to me.

So, may be I won't post too much, but I wanted to register myself even only to thank you for the passion I read in your post.

Where about in Italy you live?
I can assure you that there are in fact several people with a deep interest and passion for FIAT. I have never droven any non-italian car (except in driving school) and my family exclusively owns italian cars for well over 15 years now.

Bodo, I live in Emilia, the home of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati for motorcycles.

FIAT allowed many italians (the majority) to have a car. I remember the first car when I was child, a FIAT 500. At those times she seemed to me so huge and now I am wondering how 4 people could stay in there.

As said before the majority of italians of the working class were able to drive a car thanks to FIAT 500 and FIAT 600.

Really pleased to read that there are several people who are interested in FIAT.

Just in these days, near where I live, there is a show and race of old models of car of any brand. I can not go, but if you agree and the rules of the Forum allow that, I can ask to some of my friends to make some photo of FIAT and I will post them.
