I have a 15 year old barchetta which always started first time. Have just put new battery on and clock radio and interior light work but nothing else. All the ignition lights come on and then there is a slight click and all goes dead. Any ideas please

Did you find out what the problem was? New battery not tightened up enough or fuse relay loose?

As steve said, Had a similar problem once, thightening problem and a bad contact due to a protective grease on the New battery. I brush the battery terminals , and re-tighten everything, problem solved.

Are you sure your new battery is fully charged? It should be but it is not unheard of for a new battery to be low on charge.
