Good morning folks !! :D

My name is Mirko, I'm an italian merchant navy officer, right now working for the coast guard in Genoa.

My car is a lovely fiat Panda classic Mk2 , year 1987.

I'm a member of Panda 4x4 Off Road Club Italia, the panda paradise !! :)

I joined your forum to follow the thread "Panda Road Trip Italia", I'm your italian contact. ;)

Benvenuto Mirko!
possibly we will meet at the meeting
I am in Rome

Ciao and welcome! I'm looking forward to taking the Panda back to it's homeland for some off road fun, and also to meet you and your Panda team as well.

I have to ask...Do you have any mk1 (before 1986) Panda 4x4's joining us in the summer? I will be bringing my 1986 4x4 assuming all goes to plan :)

Cheers!
Si

You are very friendly guys !!! I hope to meet all of you here in Italy !! :)

I would show you some videos of the national meetings, but the forum says :
"You are only allowed to post URLs once you have at least 5 posts"

I will post some videos soon ;)

Thank you very much for your welcome mate !!

Yes, we have some members with Panda 4x4 MK1 , and some of them are very very nice.

My father used to have a "special version" , the "Nuova Panda 4x4" of 1985, it was cool, but it has been stolen years ago.

In this discussion you find a picture of this particular version :

It had red interiors, additional lights, a little bullbar, headlight washers, roof rack, and nice stickers on the sides :)

Panda MK2, year 1987

The first picture shows the car with the FIRST tuning parts, just at the beginning (+5 centimers height increase, stickers, additional lights  , disco ball & blue leds).

I took the last 2 pictures during my birthday, and there is a 2 meters long antenna on the roof :p , and some little modifies.

Awesome, would be great to see them in the summer if they are being let loose on the dirt

I've seen pictures of the special edition before, I'm not sure it was sold here but someone else might be able to say for sure. Really sad to hear it was stolen though. I always park mine with steering lock bar fitted...get laughed at because no one ever thinks anyone will steal a panda....far from the truth unfortunately :(

Cheers,
Si

Hello and welcome Mirko.

There's one of these over here Si. The lady contacted me for help & I sent her to Vernon - he's been looking after it for a while. It was bought in France originally I believe, so maybe it was never sold in the UK? (y)
