Hello all.

Picking up my 63 plate 500l trekking on Tuesday, can't wait.

I'ts a 1.3 multijet diesel, dualogic as I have a disability.

Hurry up Tuesday :D

Craig

(y) I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed mine over the past 11 months.

Thanks for the welcome.

Picked the car up today and enjoyed the drive back home, the first thing I've notices is the dualogic gearbox is far superior to the easytronic box on the astra I traded in, the only thing I've still to work out is how the stop/start works with the automatic box, maybe someone could help  :)

I wish diesel was available in the US.. How do you like it?

This is the first diesel I've owned and yes, I like it, it's not the quickest in the world but I new that when I bought it.

I still can't believe how well the dualogic box works especially after reading some of the bad reviews on different forums, maybe it's because the easytronic was that bad anything is better :D

p.s. now that the battery is fully charged the start/stop is working fine.

Even my non-diesel isn't that quick but I'm ok with that. This is my first Fiat and I love the little thing.

Going into shop this week because the rear passenger window won't go all the way up with the auto button. Other than that no issues.

Are you sure that is a fault?

In the UK the front passenger side windows don't go up at all using the auto function, it's to prevent something getting trapped in it as it goes up. You have to hold the button up to close the window all the way. (it would have been better with a proper 'anti trap' function that stops and retracts the window if something does get trapped but this is FIAT's rather crude implementation)

Your post got me thinking this is a similar design feature but applied to the rears???

Post back and let us know what the dealer says - thanks.

I know it's not normal. It never did it before and other window works just fine.

Hubby thinks it's the button.

Good thing about having a warranty is we don't have to figure it out and work on the car ourselves! Big plus to the hubby.

OK - please let us know what they say the fault is though as it can help other members if we get the same or similar issue coming up on another vehicle.
