Good afternoon

Fiat scudo has starting problems, when cold nearly impossible to start, glow plugs changed, fuel pump is primed, engine all sound, injectors checked and ok, takes 1/2 hour plus to get started

Any help gratefully needed

Thanks

Hello, and welcome,
back to basics, has this just come on.., or been getting worse..??

does "cycling" the glowplugs help at all,

you need as good battery as possible to get cranking revs = FUEL pressure,
BUT if it'll crank for 30 mins it should be o.k.,

reading / clearing fault codes is the next logical step ( cost effective)

also once started will it relight o.k., or still struggling,

Crank Angle Sensor is a BIG thing for diesels..!!

Once started runs ok, can leave for up to 4 hours and still starts ok, it's just initial start. Battery is new and tested ok, 70 amp battery
crank angle sensor? Can this be cleared with fault codes
