My wifes 2003 1.2 Petrol panda has a fault.
It starts and runs clean up to about 2000 rpm and then keep cutting out as if you are turning of the key and back on. So 2000 then idle and back to 2000 with the pedal on the floor. My universal code reader shows no faults although when it cuts the engine management light shows but no logged codes.
I had a look at all the connections under the bonnet but see no bad ones or loose wires,. It done this once before and found a chafed wire to one of the coils but these look intact but would have expected a missfire rather than this sympton.
