Hi all, just changed from a very nice but older 2.0 d x type jag and moved to an even nicer 2009 black Bravo 2.0 165 sport and I think it's superb. Got all the toys and the blue and me is fantastic. Here's to many miles of happy motoring.

I have the same one! I love it, i got it remapped shortly after to around 209Bhp and my god can you feel it. A few small problems i noticed are the egr valve can get clogged and under engine pannels come loose faily quick(n)

That re map sounds like a good idea! The only downside is it does not have an armrest fitted and according to the Fiat dealer there is not one for this model. They could supply one that " might " fit for around £300 but no guarantees, so really miss the rest and ain't paying that so will have to get used to it. But, it's a very nice car and well impressed especially as it's black with the black rear tinted windows and chrome wheels, sweet.

My bravo has the armrest?!? behind the handbreak i have the little bottle cooler and the leather arm rest with compartment. Do you have the full leather interior?

Ah, mine has the cloth interior but also has the digital climate control, as you say all very confusing so maybe this will be the difference. I wish I could get my hands on a black one to fit myself. My fist time with blue and me and it's the best thing since sliced bread...:D

Yours is a sport model by the sounds of it but with the climate control as an added extra. Which is why you don't have an arm rest :)

You can install the armrest! it has been done many times.
You also need the cooling compartment along with the armrest.

Basically you remove the tray on the center console.. and replace it with the cooler then bolt on the arm rest.
It's a 10 minute job.
I would suggest you find somebody scrapping a Bravo and get the parts much cheaper than Fiat.

Great, thanks for the info. Will keep my eyes open, however these type of cars are difficult to find in my loacl scrap yards.

Ahhh, makes sense and yes it is the sport. As the other post I will keep looking around the scrap yards, cheers. Paul
