Hi Everyone.

Hope I don't get into trouble with this one but I have searched The Fiat Forum HONEST!!!!, and downloaded 2 online Manuals {so that's £20.00 gone} and all I want to do is CLEAN THE EGR on My Scudo 1.9d Van Blue 2004 GD04 RCY. I have flushed the Cooling System with help from some great guys { gals] on the Fiat Forum, but I cannot for the life of me find the EGR. IS there one on this Model??? So my Question IS ?????:
Has anyone got the Drill/ Schematic to carry out this procedure.

I apologise in advance if it is staring me in the Face on our fabulous forum, but I cant find it.
Reminds me of when I got lost on the way to Jersey { Retired Pilot}

Thanks for reading.

Allan.

So after 40+ views i must assume that no one is going to be able to help. Disappointed in a way when i read some of the banal stuff responded too on here. So shall investigate and resolve the matter on my own. Thank you all or maybe not :]

Morning Grande Guy, Thanks for the prompt response. Yep saw this one and unfortunately it does not match the layout in my engine compartment. I have spent a week researching internet and cannot find any information relating to my issue. Obviously thought the Fiat Forum would be the place but it looks like there are not many SCUDO VAN owners on here.
Many thanks for your input tho. Merry Christmas.

Allan

Good Morning Everyone. Have Just read T14086's post and I may have discovered why I cant locate my EGR. Can any one confirm the Model I have { see above } even has a EGR Valve. WTF ?????????????? Have i been searching for the LOST CHORD or what ??????

Merry Christmas and Happy & Safe Motoring.

There's this one but looks the same.

Other thing I did with my old car was look for the part on eurocarparts or another site, least that will let you see what your looking for

Morning GrandeGuy.

Yep got that one to. Engine layout is quite different on Scudo Van. So going out there now to have Another proper look. One of the moderators has suggested some of the engines do NOT have an egr valve per se, and I am wondering if mine is one of these models. Cant even locate the little diaphragm pot that is in some of the photo I have researched.
So the journey continues Eh!

Many thanks,

Allan

Evening everyone in Fiat Forum Land.

This is an image of the same engine bay as My Scudo Van. If one of you wonderful engineers could point out where the EGR and Temperature sensor are located I will be Eternally Grateful.

Allan

I'm pretty sure it looks like my Grande Punto engine, is so its on the back of the engine to the right.

Thanks Grande Guy.

I kind of guessed it may be out of sight, will have to get it up on ramp, to work on.

Have been working on the van to prepare for a move to France. Changed the Thermostat Yesterday, flushed the system, now I have NO reading on the temp gauge at all. Could be sensor ? do you now where the sensor is located, cant see from workshop manual as I don't think it is for my engine, although it clearly states its for the 1.9 JTD engine the layout is definitely different.

Thank you for all your feed back. I have not found a definitive guide yet for changing/cleaning the EGR on a SCUDO VAN Engine although I appreciate these engines are used in a large range of vehicles.

Regards,

Allan
