Hello All new to this forum,i am looking to buy a 500 convertible either lounge or S , And cant decide which twin air to go for , anyone got any recommendations on which engine performs better,i am not a speed freak,but i want to be able to enjoy the car whilst getting good economy

whem i got my 105 version in June
they reckoned the 85 one was been phased out soon
so if your buying new it might only be the 105 available
if your buying 2nd hand more than 1 year old will only be the 85 one.

The 85 has better torque spread and should be more drivable.

The 105 has an electronic thermostat that might actually make it more economical on short trips.

I'd get the 105 for it's upgraded brakes and six speed.

UFI is right. The 105 is worth it just for the upgrades- disc brakes all round, 6 speed gearbox, ESP with hill-holder, more grins etc. the 85 is a great car but the 105 is just more!
