I have a 500l Trekking that is great and could not be more pleased.
The only problem has been to TomTom Sat Nav locked up, dealer tried a software upgrade that did not work and new unit was fitted with latest software in place.
This is where it gets interesting I updated the March 2013 maps via 90 day update offered free, update was September 2013 when the update was applied in Nov 2014 so the map was over 12 months old.
I decided to contact TomTom to see if this was correct and to enquire that a newer map was available as they have just released version 9.40 2 days ago.
TomTom informed me no further map updates were available or planned.
This make the £500 optional extra somewhat a bad investment.
I spoke to my dealer who are very perplexed as they are still selling the upgrade to the standard radio, they could offer no explanation and have also expressed concern, I have been advised to contact Fieat central customer care.
I have also sent an email to TomTom asking them to confirm the situation as they are still offering speedcam and traffic for the Uconnect 5 radio nav.
Has anyone else had this experience or can anyone confirm that there will be no more map updates.
