Hi Guys,

I wonder if any of you had a similar problem in the past and might be able to give me some ideas please... I drive a Bravo 1.4 T-jet 150 and the coolant is leaking very badly :( I have to top it up in every 2 days and since the cold weather started it has got even worse -noticed that it loses more water when the temperate drops. It drives fine and i check the oil and the coolant very often and it's all clean.
I noticed some coolant right below the water pump earlier this year and had the water pump and thermostat replaced about 6 months ago but it hasn't stopped leaking :( Now i can't see any leak in the engine bay only this pink-orange deposit (see picture)
Last time when i had a service Fiat told me that there is a 'slight' leak on the union seal!? Does anyone know what and where that is?? Or could it be the pipe going into the turbo? I heard that is a common problem with the Bravos.
I attached a picture to this post, please if you have any ideas where the leak is or experienced the same problem before let me know. I would really appreciate it before i take it to the garage. Thanks in advance!:)

I had a coolant leak 2 weeks ago, turned out radiator was leaking on top right corner on the inside. Also, top radiator hose was leaking where it joins onto the engine due to the metal being scratched when the pipe was removed when the water pump/timing belt were changed. This is what my local garage told me anyway.

New radiator & top hose and they filed down the scratch stopped the leak.

There was red coolant staining all round the engine as the coolant tends to move around and then evaporate off, not necessarily where the leak is. Best take it to your local garage where they can drain the system and pressure test it, as that's how they found my leaks.

Hi there i had same problem few months back , turned out to be a loose jubilee clip on one of the hoses ,replaced it and been fine since

I wish it was just only that! I will get it checked and hope it's just a minor problem like yours.
Thanks for the info :)
