Hi

I'm sure we'll convert you to our way and soon you'll find yourself choosing the Panda over the landie. :) Don't forget to post pics.

Don't be too sure about converting a Landie man Wee Smurf!
I enjoy my 1.1 FWD (not 4x4) a recent acquisition, but when the weather turns really sour, or we want a motor to use on holiday (and see over hedges etc.) the 90 wins every time! :)

But the 4x4 is quite a capable wee thing.

You need to put a decent set of tyres on your Active to keep on going when the weather turns. I put Winter tyres on my Multijet and keep on running.

No low range.
Makes all the difference when the going gets really nasty.

But a great little 4x4 for all that, and driven with skill will see off many other Chelsea Tractors.

That's true. But then a properly driven 2 wheel drive can easily see off a badly driven 4x4!

When I owned the '45' 14 years ago I always fancied one of the equivalent 4x4 Pandas. Never got around to it. Will certainly consider one of the 04 - 12 4x4 models when I fancy the next "shopping trolley / commutacar" change... :)
