I have been having problems with my Stilo (asr failure etc check my other thread).
I have been cleaning the fuse box near the battery and found a fuse in the f22 port - says on the manual that this is for JTD versions only. So i took the fuse out and cleaned the rest and put the box back together and the car wouldn't start.
I put the fuse back into f22 and the car started. Anyone any ideas on why this is the way it is?
Also the fuse is meant to be 20 amp but the one in my car is only 15 amp and i don't have a spare 20 amp

Never understood a word of that apart from you took the fuse out and car would not start. Non shocker mate. Book says Electronic Injection primary service and yes 20 amp so why would you try and start the car after taking it out?

My user manual makes no reference to fuse F22 being used for the 1.6 petrol which is what i drive.
Found a download for a Stilo manual in one of your previous posts and shows the F22 fuse to be used for all petrol versions and that 15 amp is the correct fuse.

Thanks for posting and taking an interest. Still have the cutting out problem but I will be trying to replace the crank shaft sensor next to see if that works
