just brought full set of tyres from flea bay 225/45/17 but there y speed rating is it going to be a problem ive got a chipped 120 multijet 1.9 so kicking out about 160bhp now
 
Shouldn't be going more then 75 on the motorway anyway.... unless it's a track car, I've seen some good years with max speed rating of 168!

wrong section.. YOU decide wither it's Tuning, or Model specific;)

the quality of the rubber compounds and construction is more important than the speed rating IMHO.

esp. with a heavy diesel engine up front.

So you've got a "chipped" car and then put cheap rubber on it?
Sorry, but I've lost the logic of that.
Decent tyres can be bought for less than the power mod.
 
yep it is highest they are Uniroyal rainsport 3 I had a motorbike and had the tyres from the next rateing and never had any problems with ridability


they must be better than the cheap winrun tyres that are on cheap nasty no grip

If there're Uniroyals I take back my comment about fitting cheap rubber.
