Hey all!!!!! I did a quick search nothing drastic on the forum to see if anything was the same as what im going to post and didnt see anything, so if this is a duplicate im soory. so i have a few questions for youguys if yall dont mind answering. So first off i have no idea why but all of the sudden i think the fiats look really nice and im really considering purchasing one! Right now i own a 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara and fuel economy sucks 19 city 25hwy supposed to avergae 23 but that dosent happen i only ever average 19.6 so i really want to get something with very good fuel economy. I do live in California so I am considering the 500e because i definately dont drive more than 88 miles a day so id never use gas. However im thinking what if i do want to go out of town? my parents would probably get tired of me asking to barrow their car lol, so im also considering the 500 turbo only beacuse i dont like the front seats in the abarth. my question about the turbos fuel economy is how many miles can you go on a single tank of gas? i checked fueleconomy.gov but there wasnt anything on there about the total range, does anybody own a 500 turbo automatic and knows what the total range on a single tank is? and a total off topic question is what are Bi-Halogen Headlights? i noticed that is what comes on the fiats. well sorry this is a long ramble but if anyone can answer my questions i would really apperciate it! I would by the Gas powered car as it is more versatile. as far as buying a turbo, if you want good mileage a non-turbo gas 500 will get much better mileage, but not be near as fast. non-turbo car will get about 4-5 miles per gallon less in normal driving.


If you want performance and not an Abarth then the 500 Turbo is a good choice.


you need to decide between economy or fun.

I know the turbo gets a few mpg less then a regular 500 but what im looking to know is how far can you go on a tank of gas? My curent car only goes like 280 per full tank so thats kinda what im wanting to know about the fiat is how far can you go on a tank of gas. I definitely want the turbo that the what is it 101hp of the regular fiat isnt enough haha.

If you see yourself driving around town more than out of town, you may wanna consider getting the 500e and renting when you need more range. Doesn't the 500e come with a rental package?

The 500e would also give you the benefit of being a very small circle of FIAT owners.

My 2014 turbo averages 32 mpg with 91 octane so a 10.5 gallon tank will take me 320 miles with a Half gallon reserve. Average speed reads 30 mph on the computer.
