saw a couple of Stilo being broke near me. Going to try that for fuse boxcover. Tried the earths but all seemed ok(is there supposed to be an earth on the abs control unit - got a reading of 0.1 - 0.2 there).
Again if anyone has any ideas - the car is much worse in slow moving traffic. When i go to work (1 hr drive) there are not so many cars on the road andit cuts out maybe 1 or 2 times max, on way home when there are lots of cars and slower traffic the car can cut out maybe 5 - 10 times. Always starts straight away.

I had this recently, crankshaft sensor failed as it was only £20 i changed it as the diagnostic equipment cost twice that but mines a JTD (fuse-box cover free also)and dont know if yours has a crank sensor. Loose connection is a bad translation i found on one of my many searches (after checking many connections also)
