Hi. Just bought myself a 51 Reg Sporting in areal nice grey colour. It has the soleil? full sunroof and some half decent alloys.
"Pilchard" does have two or three issues. The stereo supplied isnt actually wired in at all, and I am having a headache matching the wiring up to the car. The rear wiper and demister do not work - the tailgate has been replaced by a badly resprayed ex yellow one. I have checked fuses and wiring, and cleaned all connectors but to no avail!!!

Looking forward to getting teething problems sorted out, and I do enjoy using forums, so my be posting quite a lot here!

For the stereo you probably need to buy the required ISO connector.

I wonder if the wiper motor and demister are even wired in?

A hardbook that'll do the job (600) and the Seicento Technical Manual (the factory workshop manual) in the Downloads section (in 3 parts: download all the parts, place in a folder, download an unrar utility from Sourceforge -- free and will be without nasties).

Welcome to the forum! If the tailgate ancillaries don't work it's possible that they're just not wired into the car so check that out.
