Hi Roberto, welcome to the forum.

I changed the thermostat on my 1.9 8v JTD a while back and it was a serious pain.

It needs a lot of patience as well a mirror to see where the bolts are. And a bunch of jubilee clips to replace all the ones you'll need to break off to get the old one out.

Hi Roberto
It is a big job to change the thermostat so I fitted a hose thermostat(volvo 340) which with some grease only involves undoing the hose clip ect and pushing the stat into the hose. It has worked well through the summer and took an hour or so .:)

That can be a good idea
I have some questions
Thare are three hoses going out from the thermo valve. Two are in and out from clima and the other i think is gfrom the oil coller.
Did you fitted the hose thjermo vane only in the clima hose ?=
